NETWORK ARCHITECTURE REVIEW
Network Architecture Review
Our Network Architecture Review provides a detailed audit of your company's network ecosystem. We look at how the network is built, how well it performs, how secure it is, and what scope it has to grow to meet future needs.
Knowing what you're working with is the first step to planning a successful digital transformation project. Mapping the network is a key stage in understanding your current mode of operations (CMO) and planning next steps.
We'll provide a fresh set of eyes and ears, helping you to consolidate your estate, eliminate Shadow IT, and enable new technologies to take your operations to the next level.

WHY DO I NEED THIS?
Benefits of a Network Architecture Review
Naturally, the top priority for any organisation is to keep critical workloads running. Time and money is often invested in ‘keeping the lights on’ which can have a detrimental impact on future development and transformation plans.
The skills needed to run a transformation programme or cloud-based development are very different to those needed for day-to-day management. This can lead to a conundrum over whether to buy vs build.
We can offer first hand experience which will help you to make key decisions such as this.
If you're worried that your network security posture could be more robust, you are not alone.
Having a Network Architecture Review can help improve security by identifying vulnerabilities, finding ways to optimise your defences, and ensure proper segmentation and access controls are in place across the estate.
Network skills are running short, and a lack of people in the discipline can prevent organisations from achieving their goals, or even planning them in the first place.
Our architecture assessment session will allow you to lean on our expertise and get you started on the journey.
Whether you’re already working in the cloud, or migrating on-prem workloads for the first time, you need a strong digital foundation to support the network.
Hybrid, multicloud and supercloud approaches are all possible. We can help you figure out which strategy will work best for your organisation's network performance.
We can help ensure network compliance through our Architecture Review by assessing configurations against regulatory standards, identifying gaps, and recommending necessary adjustments to meet compliance requirements.
HOW IT HELPS
How our Network Architecture Review can help
Enabling secure data and information sharing
Collaborating with other entities can cause a logistical challenge for IT teams. Managing permissions, access restrictions and providing an audit trail gets exponentially more complex as networks sprawl. We can help you to unpick this.
Consolidating your network devices
We'll help you identify duplication and shadow IT from a networking and security perspective. By building a picture of your existing estate, we can identify areas to consolidate and refine your security devices and connections - saving time and money!
Tackling network skills shortages
A lack of skills could leave you struggling to understand your legacy network. New terminology like NaaS and SD-WAN can muddy the waters. Our experts will help you assess your network posture, and share best practice within your specific industry.
Moving from on-premise to cloud hosting
You may want to migrate applications and workloads to the cloud, but have concerns around security, bandwidth or costs (or all three!). We'll guide you through the options to find a solution that suits both your business AND your budget.

NETWORK ARCHITECTURE REVIEW FAQS
Answering your FAQs about Network Architecture Reviews
A Network Architecture Review is a structured analysis of your network infrastructure, including your WAN estate, clouds, data centres and other endpoints. It assesses routing and security policies between locations to build a picture of how your network is built, how well it performs, and how secure it is.
A Network Architecture Review can be crucial to understanding the ways that your network is holding back your daily operations, your scope to innovate, or both!
It provides a fresh, unbiased set of eyes, to identify risks and opportunities, resulting in a set of clear actions for continued improvement.
You may need a Network Architecture Review for a number of reasons. Generally, they are prompted by new complexities, a concern about security, or lack of internal skills.
For example, if your organisation is undergoing a merger or acquisition, or embarking on a large scale transformation project, you may want to conduct a review to find the baseline from which you're building.
We recommend conducting some kind of review annually, but if your business is growing and changing quickly, it may be wise to do this more often. Triggers may include staff turnover, an upcoming project, new compliance or legislation, or a security breach.
A high level review report can be produced with as little as an hour of your team's time.
For more detailed reports encompassing a larger or more complex network estate, a review could take more time. In some cases, we can embed a technical expert into your team for an agreed number of days, if required.
