Transit-only Connectivity enables you to establish a high bandwidth network connection between your data centre presence and a Cloud Service Provider (CSP).

What is Transit-only Connectivity?
Transit-only Connectivity is typically used to move large amounts of data from an on-premise environment to the cloud. As data moves from one trusted source to another, you may not require traffic to be subject to the same levels of security inspection.
How does it work?
Transit-only connectivity is a supplementary service available as part of a wider platform provision. You need to have purchased a Cloud Gateway platform to use Transit-only Connectivity.
We can utilise existing data centre connectivity that we have already provisioned as part of your platform. If there isn’t already a connection to re-use, or you need additional cross-connects to be installed, we can include our Data Centre Connectivity service in your solution design.
We will provision Cloud Connectivity to your chosen CSP via our private on-ramp, linking your data centre connection with the cloud, and bypassing the platform's Secure Enforcement Core (SEC).
The cloud environment needs to be different from any cloud endpoints that the platform already connects to.
Bandwidth options range from 1Gbps to 10Gbps.
