What is Data Centre Connectivity?

If you or your MPLS provider share a data centre presence with Cloud Gateway, we can establish a direct connection and extend it to your other network endpoints. This enables secure, high-performance connectivity without the need for additional infrastructure investment, reducing complexity and ensuring a seamless integration with your existing network.

Our presence in key UK data centres provides low-latency, resilient access to cloud services, third-party networks, and the internet, making it easier to scale and adapt as your business evolves. We are located in:

Connecting to You (Cross Connect)

If you connect to Cloud Gateway, we’ll provide a Letter of Authority (LOA), allowing you to terminate a fibre cable in our rack. You’ll need to arrange with the data centre provider to run the cable from your rack to ours. If Cloud Gateway connects to you, the responsibilities are reversed.

Connecting to a Third-Party Provider (NNI)

When connecting to a third-party MPLS provider, the LOA process remains the same. We collaborate with your provider to design and implement the connection while ensuring a smooth, secure integration.

This vendor-agnostic approach gives you the freedom to connect how and where you need, supporting a hybrid cloud, multicloud, or supercloud strategy without being locked into a single provider or technology.
